The royal blue of Frida Kahlo's Casa Azul and of the Majorelle Gardens is the strongest
chromatic suggestion in the construction of the stand. Colour becomes the matter to create
uniform and solid backdrops or lightweight and slender structures on which the pieces of the
collection are suspended.
The stand is a blue box that opens by surprise on the longest side, towards the busiest route
of the pavilion. It is a large terraced lawn, where the blades of grass undulate in the wind;
the inner space is hidden, glimpsed and invites entering.
The iconic wall facing the lawn
is a long rainbow with a pale
green background. The outfits are mounted on vertical rods
hung on decorated ceramic knobs and rope.
The neutral and natural sisal mat flooring is designed with lines with a variable section, in
bright colours, and recalls the fabrics used for deckchairs. The large flower-box is made from
natural unpolished plywood. The curved neon signs have a bright, white light.
